Change from little endian to big endian on SheevaPlug?

The documentation says the SheevaPug supports both little and big endian. By default the SheevaPlug is configured in little endian mode. I have a non-opensource executable that only runs on a ARM in big endiannes mode. Therefore I like to change the endiannes of my SheevaPlug from little to big. Is there anywhere a procedure which describes how to do this.

I don't know what problems I will get into and also don't know if it would be harmful for the SheevaPlug. I don't want to end up with a dead plug.

Is there any risk changing the endiannes?

Has someone tried this before?
