I've got two SheevaPlugs now. And I'm wonder if there is a way of telling what version tha hardware is e.g. 1.3 without opening the Plug

Or maybe there's stuff in dmesg that gives a clue?

The distance between the ethernet port and the USB port.

if they are right next to each other, it's an old one, if they are apart (by about 40mm) then it's a rev1.3

Well that was sorta what I was hoping or even something in /proc or even in the part number of the label
