I noticed Victors post on driving LED's I am working with the sheevaplug that has 2 LED's and am interested in controlling them, I have gentoo running on the plug, was wondering if anyone had done any work on this front and would care to share

yes, but u can only control the blue one:

echo 255 > /sys/devices/platform/leds-gpio/leds/plug:green:health/brightness
or
echo 255 > /sys/class/leds/plug:green:health/brightness
