11  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Marvell Staff...Plug Computer 3.0 on: January 14, 2010, 10:25:17 AM
yeah we are a little ot Cheesy... I've tried both transmission and deluge but i chose deluge because transmission doesn't download files properly: the download speed with transmission when comes to 50 kb/s freeze and the jumps back to 2-3kb/s instead with deluge i download the same file much more quickly
12  Linux Stuff / Kernel / just a simple question on: January 14, 2010, 10:08:00 AM
I still have sheeva plug with the oldest kernel and i want to upgrade it... but if i upgrade the kernel on the flash can i still boot my sd without do anything to it??
13  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Marvell Staff...Plug Computer 3.0 on: January 13, 2010, 02:02:17 PM
you're actually doing an amazing job i would suggest you to add maybe a client torrent (deluge not trasmission).

But i think that an interface user friendly for installation/restoration is alredy enough.

I'm not completely new in linux (i've used many ubuntu desktop version and debian on nslu2) but i've never tried GENTOO but if you will complete your distro i surely use that
