What ferrite did you use? Something like this? http://parts.digikey.de/1/1/350803-ferrite-chip-60-ohm-500ma-0603-blm18pg600sn1d.html Is it 0603?

According to the new schematics it should be possible to solder these 4 10nF capacitors and an eSATA connector to the board to make it work At least for the 1.3 Revisions. I'll try it, as soon as I've found a source for these damn small capacitors and an eSATA connector with the right footprint for normal people without buying thousands of them
