Does anyone know how big a fan this thing can handle before it becomes a burden on the power supply? I was thinking of popping the circular labeled piece of plastic off the of top and mounting a 60mm fan there....

I was looking to do a hardware mod on my guruplug and change out the new super loud fan for a passive solution. The only is that I believe globalscale stopped putting in what appears to be a metal heat plate that the old guruplugs have. Does anyone know of a good way to produce something similar so I could make my own custom sink?

Is GlobalScale ever going to fulfill its promise to even ship me a plug. I ordered the plug May 1st, hoping to see it sometime in June. Turns out that's not happening and it's practically September, 4 months after the date of purchase. This is a little bit rediculous and removing a news post because you cannot fulfill what you stated(assuming this is the reason), is not a good PR move if you want to keep your customers happy.
Does anyone have information regarding the status of the plugs?

NewIt gets its devices from GlobalScale so it really isn't any different either way as far as product reliability goes. Not to mention you have to wait a couple weeks extra before the plugs are shipped from GlobalScale to NewIT. It is nice though, mainly because the managers at NewIT actually care about their customers.
