I'm thinking about purchasing a plug computer. I want to know if the cp210* and usbserial modules are part of the kernel that ships with a stock plug computer. These are part of a normal Ubuntu release.
For example, here's what I get on a box running the last LTS release: $ modprobe -l cp210* /lib/modules/2.6.27-7-generic/kernel/drivers/usb/serial/cp2101.ko $ modprobe -l usbserial /lib/modules/2.6.27-7-generic/kernel/drivers/usb/serial/usbserial.ko
Can anyone check for these modules on a plug computer for me before I buy it?
Also, if I wish to install Sun Java, what do I have to do? Anything special or is it like using a normal Ubuntu machine? Which repositories are used?
Thanks!
