Did you compile mpd?  I am working on doing this as well and I'm having problems compiling mpd.

I am having the same type of problem.  I can't find the headers anywhere.  If I find them I'll post it.

Does anyone know how to get and install the kernel headers for the original kernel?  I am trying to compile a wireless USB stick driver and I need the kernel headers to do so.  Thanks.
