1  General Category / General Discussion / Re: My Guruplug up on ebay on: November 11, 2010, 11:06:12 AM
I found that most of my needs are met with my dockstars.

Though I'll probably end up getting a sheeva plug.  Not a fan of the noise from the guruplug.

3  General Category / General Discussion / Waited all this time for the Guru, it shows up and I'm almost ready to sell it on: October 28, 2010, 11:35:04 AM
I waited months for this Plug and as I began to grow tired of waiting, I ordered two Dockstar ($27) units (same processor half the ram) and hacked them out.  They run great, stable, no heat issues, etc.  They are running my squeeze services in the house.

My Guruplug finally shows up, I plug it in and it is noisey.  I think about all the power supply issues I have read about and honestly I can't think of a reason that I should keep this.

I may test it out tonight but I'm pretty close to just putting it up on ebay.

I noticed the same thing.  Oddly enough it took me 3 tries to actually get myself a registered account.
