You do not need to open the case to remove the fitted plug. The fitted plug slides off. Just use your thumb to push it in the direction indicated by the arrow embossed on the plug. There is a latch that is revealed when you push it out a few millimeters. Just push gently on the latch with some sort of tool such as an unopened small paperclip and it will then slide past the latch.
Once the fitted plug is off you will see the power in socket on the SheevaPlug is designed as a figure of 8 socket.

I received an email today from UPS with a tracking number. According to this my SheevaPlug is going to arrive June 5th.
Still waiting to get information about the OpenRD Client I ordered. When I ordered the OpenRD Client the case was included in the price. A few days later they changed it so the client is separate charge. I wonder if they will hold to the original deal for those that ordered before the pricing change?

Have you considered replacing U-Boot with OpenFirmware? OpenFirmware is feature rich and easily extensible via forth scripts. OpenFirmware is being actively developed. I know the person that has recently updated the ARM port. If you are interested I can point you to him.
