1  Hardware and U-Boot firmware / Hardware / Re: "New" Marvell Device? ICY IB-NAS 6210 on: October 14, 2011, 05:22:33 AM
Hi, what about the right ArcNumber? I found in kernel 3.0.X a definition for
this device  in arch/arm/tools/mach-types

Code:
prima2_evb              MACH_PRIMA2_EVB         PRIMA2_EVB              3103
nas6210                 MACH_NAS6210            NAS6210                 3104
unisdev                 MACH_UNISDEV            UNISDEV                 3105

Do we need

arcNumber 3104

to be set in the uboot env then?

I also had to include
#include <asm/io.h>

in arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/nas6210-setup.c

to compile the addition from Arne.F

2  Hardware and U-Boot firmware / U-Boot stuff / Re: Has Guru Plus different cpu then Guru(Sheeva)? solved on: May 26, 2010, 01:52:18 AM

I finally got around this Error. I had to push the reset button when starting openocd.

The next Issue solved is: I run a 64bit linux on my Desktop. Openocd from
guru-installer is static linked 32 bit application. Therefore I had to run openocd in
an 32 bit compatibilty mode of my Desktop. This means running >linux32 openocd.

Perhaps this is helpfull for sameone.
3  Hardware and U-Boot firmware / U-Boot stuff / Has Guru Plus different cpu then Guru(Sheeva)? on: May 23, 2010, 11:45:52 PM
I tried to reflash my Guru Plus via JTAG which doesn't work. The very first messages during this process
shows a unknown cpu. I googled around and found no real answer for this problem. Does anyone know
how to proceed with it?

Code:
Info : JTAG tap: feroceon.cpu tap/device found: 0xfc0000e3 (Manufacturer: 0x071, Part: 0xc000, Version: 0xf)
Error: JTAG tap: feroceon.cpu             got: 0xfc0000e3 (mfg: 0x071, part: 0xc000, ver: 0xf)
Error: JTAG tap: feroceon.cpu expected 1 of 1: 0x20a023d3 (mfg: 0x1e9, part: 0x0a02, ver: 0x2)
