Hi,

 What's the failure of your guruplug?. Is not seeing anything connected to the usbs?. Have you checked that the u4 (GL850) does not shows the V33?. If so, if you fix the problem by changing the chip, I will be very happy to get one!

Hi,

 I finally gave up, because it was impossible for me to get this chip (the minimum qty for ordering was 100!). I was using the guruplug with the esata port, because usb was not working. If you are interested in getting the guruplug, I could sell it. Where are you from?

Hi,

 I'm selling two Guruplug Server Plus and one JTAG module. One of the Guruplugs has been reworked to have a external power supply and the fan has been removed, fully functional. The another Guruplug has the two USB plug non-functional, but eSata and ethernet working fine. The complete kit for 150 Euros (plus shipping cost). The guruplugs are in Spain.

 I'm using my guruplug server plus with no fan, I simply removed it. I also removed the power supply and replaced it with an external power supply, to do that, I placed a connector in the guruplug case. There are a lot of post of users that 'tuned' the plugs to avoid heating. Mine is working 24x7 as a surveillance system and does not get hot anymore.

 I'm pretty sure that this uboot works for guruplug server plus, are the commands you're using the following?. A change in the addresses could make you plug get bricked

 Here's the method I use for my guruplug, change the addresses if needed, but I believe they are the same (?):

tftp 0x6400000 u-boot.3.4.27.bin
nand erase 0x0 0x100000
nand write.e 0x6400000 0x0 0x100000

 And here you have the needed file -> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14178571/u-boot.3.4.27.bin. Copy it to your tftp server directory (in ubuntu /var/lib/tftpboot)
