We have 3 (or is it 4) versions of Dreamplug and I think they have different flash memory, yet we have one DTS for the Dreamplug. Does anyone know which models work with the mainline Dreamplug kernel ?

If you have one of the newer Dreamplugs, uap8xxx is not an applicable module to use.

I built hostapd and wpa_supplicant from the source and it seems to be working ok(so far).

Does anyone know why hostapd is no longer provided for armel in the latest wheezy?

sdlan is for managed/adhoc mode good to hear it works.
Let me investigate and referesh my memory about uap8xxx and 3.3

if you are not using bluetooth

blacklist

btmrvl and btmrvl_sdio

You might have to explicitly load uap8xxxx

with

# modprobe uap8xxx

Its probably just a case of blacklisting the libertas and mwifiex drivers.
Post the output    from

# lsmod

So does it still have an internal uSD?

I would not expect any of my kernels to work with NAND flash.
However,  sheeva kernels might now be a better fit for the dreamplug.

what did you use to create your partitions?
I have had similar problems when I do not use fdisk.
