1  General Category / General Discussion / Problems about install Webcam-server on: March 16, 2012, 12:58:10 AM
I have installed webcam-server in my dreamplug follows http://www.plugcomputer.org/plugwiki/index.php/Webcams, and I didn't compile a new kernel.

After running the webcam-server, it always shows "connecting, please wait..."and a green spot near it, and no video or picture comes out.

How can I fix it?

run command "dov4l -q"
it shows below:

6  Linux Stuff / Linux distributions / Re: How to reinstall Ubuntu on D2plug on: February 19, 2012, 10:29:02 PM
Thank you very much,  but the Ubuntu system on my plug has some problem, all the "sudo" and "su" command can't be excuted, in other words, I cannot get root permission now.   I have download "D2Plug-Software-User-Guide.pdf" and "d2plug-rootfs-20110903.tar.gz", and in the user guide it says I must excute commands like "sudo fdisk /dev/sdc","sudo fdisk /dev/sdc" and so on, and in my system all the "sudo" command cannot be excuted, so what should I do?
