1. could you let me know the detail ,why you need AP mode , I afraid ,even AP mode isworking , but still not met your requirment
2. I used NFS mode so eth0 still has connection , I stop ubuntu network-mamgment than used WPA-Supplicant connect to AP , and used sudo dhclient mlan0 command  form console to get IP , so I think it work
32  Linux Stuff / Linux distributions / Re: Linux-header-2.6.32.9-dove-5.4.2 source files on: January 16, 2012, 08:30:18 PM
Sorry , I still has some confuse

I think your mean is uImage binary form download page  is different with your build source from download page

if it ture , your used cross compiler, and kernel config is follow user guild form download page?

if you follow all instruction ,if you burn you build binary to D2Plug , this mean D2plug source same with uImage binary at device right

sorry , I still has some confuse

if you used your build kernel form doownload page source at D2Plug , so your concern ,uImage binary and header isn't match was gone right

BTW if you want to make headers , I have see the make file from source , you could do below

make ARCH=arm headers_install INSTALL_HDR_PATH=< your header path>

I have a little bit confuse ,
1.your AP mean you want to do the AP mode ?
2. your bluetooth is working fine right?
3.as I previous suggestion ,ubuntu networking-mangment will interference WPA_Supllicant , do you try stop it first
36  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Windows (R) operating system on a D2Plug? on: January 15, 2012, 07:59:47 PM
as I know , currently not any wince version support at D2Plug, so even you want to do the porting by yourself , I think no one knows how to count this effort

I think ubuntu not hard o used for daily work , so could you point out which thing you think ubuntu not suit for you maybe we could fingure out a way to let you

used ubuntu
37  Hardware and U-Boot firmware / Hardware / Re: d2plug wireless issues on: January 11, 2012, 04:12:14 AM
a) wireless issue , my D2Plug also has similar issue , I found this is beacuse ,if you used WPA_supplicant ..the ubuntu network-mangment will interference it

so there are hard to connect AP , I stop ubuntu  network-mangment  through command "sudo /etc/init.d/network-mangment stop" than try  WPA_supplicant
again it work , I could connect AP
38  Hardware and U-Boot firmware / Hardware / Re: d2plug wireless issues on: January 09, 2012, 08:29:51 PM
a) so do you mean , you only has issue at WPA mode , if AP config to open-system none security , you will work fine right
b)for bluetooth, I have try at my site, it work fine , Ihave attach my init script for your reference
39  Linux Stuff / Linux distributions / Re: Linux-header-2.6.32.9-dove-5.4.2 source files on: January 09, 2012, 08:06:16 PM
I have check this source again , it is linux 2.6.32.9-dove-5.4.2

this is kernel source , so it should contain all header file

so, maybe I miss something , could you point out which header file you need not include at kernel source
40  Linux Stuff / Linux distributions / Re: Linux-header-2.6.32.9-dove-5.4.2 source files on: January 09, 2012, 05:39:21 AM
I want to doublw confirm it

do you want to get kernel source right ?

if it true , I believe you could download it from my previous list

BTW I also give you the download page snapshot ,you could reference it
41  Hardware and U-Boot firmware / Hardware / Re: d2plug wireless issues on: January 08, 2012, 09:16:48 PM
a) do you have try to used WPA_SUpplicant or some ubuntu wireless mangment package , just like Wicd...
b) I did't understand your mean, if your mean that you want to used script to do "insmod bluetooth...", just like wireless to do , you could add you want at /etc/init.d/8787 script
42  Linux Stuff / Linux distributions / Re: Linux-header-2.6.32.9-dove-5.4.2 source files on: January 08, 2012, 08:48:40 PM

43  Linux Stuff / Kernel / Re: Kernel for D2Plug on: December 21, 2011, 07:56:46 PM
I have see the CuBox kernel version form git-hub , it look like same with D2Plug version , so if wantd is new kernel version , I don't think need to reference CuBox

another thing is even chip is same , but platform is differnet , this mean , CuBox and D2Plug could be used different component(like HDMI,Audio code dec...) at their board ,so there are some reason need to used CuBox kernel at D2Plug , CuBox kernel must been modify for D2Pllug first
44  Linux Stuff / General Linux questions / Re: D2Plug - voice is chopping/slowdown when backlight power down on: December 08, 2011, 08:00:31 PM
if you think it belong to deeplide mode

another way could resolve it, you could add "pm_disable" at boot args for uboot neviroument parmenter , this way could disable kernel deepidle function
45  Linux Stuff / General Linux questions / Re: D2Plug - voice is chopping/slowdown when backlight power down on: December 07, 2011, 09:11:22 PM
I find another coomand , maybe useful , "setterm"

try "setterm -blank 0" and "setterm -powersave off"

your could try it , as I mention before I don't have your enviroument, so I can't make sure this also working on you

BTW , as I know monitor also have power saving mode ,if this is device into power saving mode cause , I think you also can't hear any voice form S/PDIF , but your case is could hear voice form S/PDIF ,HDMI not , so maybe this is monitor behavior
