I want an encrypted tunnel between two DreamPlug devices.
The speed is an important factor, therefore hardware encryption should be working.

I have Debian "Wheezy" with a 3.1.5 kernel on the devices.

So far, I have installed ipsec-tools 0.8 and racoon and set up a tunnel according to this howto (in fact, my config files are identical to the ones in the howto).

But, when I test the tunnel bandwidth, I realized that the hardware encryption via mv_cesa module isn't used as the result was quite poor (19500 kbps in ttcp).

How do I tune ipsec-tools.conf to make use of hardware encryption? I really am an ipsec newbie, so detailed instructions are apprecieated
