Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel.
[Then just hangs]

Guess I will have to try reformatting the card. This is a real pain to say the 1st unit worked fine day in day out with a sd card booted OS.

p.s. ccp Thanks for the help

Also noticed that once booted from the sd card throught a boot command at the Marvell prompt, the plug stops responding after a few hours. Device is still on the network just wont allow for ssh'ing into the unit.
34  Hardware and U-Boot firmware / U-Boot stuff / [Help] More U-boot sdhc problems. on: December 20, 2009, 04:03:44 PM
I had my old plug booting from my 16G sdhc class 4 (Play branded) just fine.
Then I ended up getting a new unit due to a fault with the power.

I got a updated u-boot and kernel on the replacement unit. I thought that would be brill save me a job....

Now the unit will not reboot once its been turned off from the mains.

I have reflashed the unit with the install and tryed 4G sdhc class 4 (SanDisk branding) and still have the same probs.

From what I have seen about this seems to be a problem with the new u-boot.

Has anyone found a fix or work around for this yet?

[Thanks for any help]

Once the unit has been powered down and unpluged, then repluged in the output is as follows

root@ubuntu:/home/ubuntu# ./cu_sh

35  Linux Stuff / General Linux questions / iptables [Problem] on: November 09, 2009, 04:03:25 AM
I was playing around with iptables and found it seems the nat module if not included in the kernal. I get the following message

iptables v1.4.1.1: can't initialize iptables table `nat': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

Does this mean I will have to upgrade/flash the kernal or will it be a simple module load?
