Hi guys,
I'm looking for a good, silent external drive to use with plugs. It's very difficult to tell from manufacturers' specs how noisy these things can be.

At the moment I'm using a WD MyBook 250Gb which is a few years old, and I can hear it spinning up&down even when I place it a closed cupboard (your average Ikea Billy).

Any suggestions ?

I was a bit disappointed by it, to be honest. It doesn't really mention specific features of the plug concept (silent, extremely low power, ultra-small etc). As an average reader, I'd have thought "meh, I can already do this with my consumer NAS/macMini/random-old-box". I'm tempted to send them a quick mail, not to whine, but to point out what they've missed.

I've recently got a Dreamplug, but I'm having issues with the internal microSD so I'd like to replace the card. Do you guys have any idea ahow to do it without breaking anything ? Differently from the guruplug, I can't see any screws...

Any help is very appreciated.
